Doll's Houses
Introduction
Doll houses are a strange past time, some of the miniature kit is incredible. Doll's Houses are not my past time, it's the past time of my wife Andrea. I commissioned a friend of mine to build one for Andrea's birthday.
It's 12th scale and huge. He had never built one before but I had my fingers crossed. I was very happy with the result, so was Andrea. Most doll's houses only have a large opening front. This thing's front, back and roof all open out. It's not so much a dolls house, more a large model of a house. The one thing that I find strange about this pastime
is how come the miniatures cost as much as their real life counterparts. |
